Yemen War Live Map 🇾🇪

This Yemen war map merges two overlapping crises: the long civil war between the Houthi-led Ansar Allah movement and the internationally recognized government, and the Red Sea crisis triggered by Houthi attacks on commercial shipping through the Bab el-Mandeb strait. Each tracked incident is plotted with its precise lat/lon and incident type.

Mapped parties include the Houthi naval and missile forces, the Yemeni government and Southern Transitional Council, the Saudi-led coalition, US-UK Operation Poseidon Archer strike groups, and EUNAVFOR Aspides escorts. According to UN OCHA reports, Houthi attacks have rerouted roughly 70% of Suez-bound container traffic around the Cape of Good Hope, making Bab el-Mandeb the focal node of the wider Red Sea crisis.

battleMap fuses ground-event OSINT inside Yemen with live AIS vessel tracks and ADS-B patrol-aircraft feeds across the Gulf of Aden, so each Houthi attack is shown next to nearby merchant traffic. Pull the full Yemen war map via /v1/events?region=yemen with bbox filters for Bab el-Mandeb or Hodeidah. Updated every ~5 minutes via OSINT aggregation; full event history available via REST API.

Every event pinned to the Yemen map includes a title (in the original language plus automatic translations to PL/EN/UK/RU), a UTC timestamp, a category (strike, shelling, troop movement, diplomatic escalation), and a link to the original news source. Data can be filtered by date, category, or bounding box. Events older than 30 days are accessible only through the keyed REST API.

The map supports fullscreen mode, dark and light themes, infinite-scroll event lists, and — for Ukraine — an additional territorial-control layer based on publicly available cartographic data (updated daily). Every title can be reported as fake news; moderators review submissions daily.
