Iran–Israel War Live Map 🇮🇷

Polski English

This map follows the Iran–Israel (and US) confrontation: air and missile strikes, missile and drone launches, interceptions, incidents in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, and activity by Iran-aligned groups. New reports reach the map roughly every 5 minutes from public sources, each with a time, coordinates and a source link; claims are displayed as reported, not adjudicated.

This Iran–Israel war map follows the direct and indirect confrontation between Iran on one side and Israel and the United States on the other. After years of shadow conflict, Iran and Israel exchanged direct strikes in April and October 2024. In June 2025 a twelve-day war brought Israeli strikes across Iran, Iranian missile and drone barrages on Israel and, on 22 June, US strikes on the Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear sites, before a ceasefire on 24 June 2025. The map shows current reports involving these actors, so readers can see where tension is being recorded now and how quickly it is changing.

Events are spread across a wide area. Inside Iran they cluster around Tehran, military and missile sites, nuclear facilities such as Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan, and the western provinces. In Israel they include locations hit by Iranian missiles or drones and air-defence activity. The maritime dimension centres on the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman, where tanker seizures, naval encounters and shipping incidents have repeatedly been reported. Activity by Iran-aligned groups in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen is covered mainly on the corresponding region pages, which together with this one give the wider regional picture.

Plotted events include airstrikes and missile strikes, ballistic missile and drone launches, air-defence interceptions, explosions at military or industrial sites, reported sabotage and targeted killings, naval incidents and ship seizures around the Strait of Hormuz, US military actions and official announcements of military operations. The April and October 2024 exchanges and the June 2025 war are part of the historical record, which helps put any new incident into context. Each event has a timestamp, coordinates, a category and a link to its source, so that any point on the map can be traced back to the report it is based on.

Sources include Iranian state and independent media, Israeli media, statements by the Israel Defense Forces, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iranian government, US government and military statements, international news agencies and geolocated footage. Information from inside Iran is often restricted, and every party has reasons to stress damage inflicted and play down damage received, so all claims are displayed as reported and attributed to their origin rather than treated as confirmed. For colour grouping the map classifies events as Iran versus Israel and the United States. This is a technical grouping of the reported actors, not a political position on the conflict.

The Iran–Israel map is neutral and factual: it records events, not opinions. It is used by journalists, security and energy analysts, researchers and readers who want an overview of a confrontation that can move from relative quiet to open war very quickly. New events are added roughly every five minutes, titles are automatically translated into English, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian, and the free dashboard keeps 30 days of history. The data is available with an API key at /v1/events?region=iran, and the /livemap/ tracker shows ADS-B air traffic and AIS ship positions around the Gulf, although military aircraft often do not broadcast.

Every event pinned to the Iran map includes a title (in the original language plus automatic translations to PL/EN/UK/RU), a UTC timestamp, a category (strike, shelling, troop movement, diplomatic escalation), and a link to the original news source. Data can be filtered by date, category, or bounding box. Events older than 30 days are accessible only through the keyed REST API.

The map supports fullscreen mode, dark and light themes, infinite-scroll event lists, and — for Ukraine — an additional territorial-control layer based on publicly available cartographic data (updated daily). Every title can be reported as fake news; moderators review submissions daily.

New to the terminology? The OSINT, ADS-B and AIS glossary explains the terms used in event titles (front line, geolocation, Shahed drones, HIMARS, SAF/RSF, Houthis), and the battleMap FAQ covers data sources, update frequency and the API.

// Questions and answers
How often is the Iran-Israel war map updated?

The Iran-Israel conflict map refreshes approximately every 5 minutes. Strait of Hormuz incidents, Hezbollah and Houthi proxy attacks, and direct Iran-Israel exchanges are mapped in near-real-time.

Where does the Iran-Israel war data come from?

Data is aggregated from publicly available OSINT: Israeli and Iranian media, IDF and IRGC statements, social-media geolocations, AIS data on US 5th Fleet and Iranian Navy positions, and publicly available satellite imagery.

What is the Strait of Hormuz?

The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow maritime chokepoint connecting the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman, around 33 km wide at its narrowest. Around 20% of the world's oil exports flow through it, making it the single most important chokepoint in global energy markets.

Can I use the REST API for the Iran-Israel map?

Yes. Endpoint /v1/events?region=iran is available on API and API Premium plans. Filters by date, category and bbox allow you to isolate Strait of Hormuz incidents or proxy operations across Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.

Can Iran-Israel events be correlated with oil prices?

Yes. The /markets section provides Brent, WTI, gold and shipping freight charts with markers for escalation moments in the Iran-Israel region, letting traders track the direct impact of events on commodity markets.
